Can the power relay be used for loads up to 200mA? Why?Release time:2023/9/15 16:44:54 |
Not necessarily, determined based on load characteristics. 1) For resistive loads and some loads with impulse currents below 200mA, power relays cannot be used. Due to the small load, there is almost no electric arc. After using the relay for a period of time, the contact resistance can increase, and even there may be no interruption. Therefore, power relays cannot be used, and data signal relays need to be used. 2) Low power electromagnetic coil, motor, lamp and other loads, although the stable current is less than 200mA, also have impulsive current or reverse voltage, which can penetrate the oxide layer and maintain stable contact resistance. Therefore, power relays can be used. |
